When two teams with a same mindset, goal and motive join hands together with dedication and hardwork, all boundaries and expectations are surpassed. Such was the case when volunteers from DR. SHRIKANT JICHKAR FOUNDATION’S ZERO GRAVITY and speciality coffee company CORRIDOR SEVEN COFFEE ROASTERS joined forces for a unique, first of it’s kind Coffee Fundraiser called ‘Brewing for Renewing’ for Zero Gravity’s ongoing project, the ‘Shelter Home Makeovers.’
Zero Gravity and Corridor Seven Coffee Roasters blended together and came up with a pop up cafe at this girls shelter to raise money that benefited an ongoing Shelter Home Makeover Project that aims at transforming the shelter into a beautiful home that will give hope, encouragement and comfort. People had some coffee and a lovely time.
"This was a first-of-its kind fund-raiser in the city in which we turned the shelter's courtyard into a café. A major part of the coffee bills is going to be used for rebuilding the shelter," 'Q grader' Mithilesh Wazalwar, founder of Corridor Seven.
